Sai Global uses a platform called i2i at: https://i2.saiglobal.com
To be able to access i2i and download standards, you need a PERSONAL LOGON
Register for your personal logon at
https://i2.saiglobal.com. You will need your Ramsay email address.
Logon at https://i2.saiglobal.com with your personal logon.
An unlimited number may browse the platform but only one user at a time may Download. Therefore, please always Download and Save the document rather than opening and reading it online.

SAI GLOBAL (STANDARDS) – DOWNLOADING STANDARDS - AN  IMPORTANT UPDATE (Dec 2023)

If already registered with Ramsay IT for downloading SAI Global standards
There is no need to do anything. Ramsay IT has already updated the Adobe Acrobat Reader on your work computer to enable the SAI Global standard downloads.
Please note that the only Adobe Acrobat Reader this applies to is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

If you are a new user to SAI Global
1. You will first need a personal username / password logon to the SAI Global site, set up with your Ramsay email address at https://i2.saiglobal.com/
2. If you wish to download a standard to your Ramsay computer please email IT and request addition to the new Java Script configuration group called ‘AppU_SAI_Global_Standards’. This currently only configures Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for use with SAI Global.
IT will need your work station/computer number. IT will add your computer to the group and with it will come an update to Adobe which allows the download.

If you are accessing SAI Global offsite you can still logon to Sai Global with your personal logon and Download a standard.
However, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader set at Preferences to enable Acrobat JavaScript
Acrobat Reader DC > Edit > Preferences  > JavaScript (Enable Acrobat JavaScript).
If you are not comfortable turning on JavaScript on your personal computer, download standards when on the Ramsay network.

The reason for this change
From Dec 23. Vitrium is the new digital rights management system that SAI Global is using to replace FileOpen.
Vitrium will apply the required watermarking to the standards and will continue to prevent sharing or storing on another device.
Vitrium works with Adobe Reader.
You only need to have Adobe Reader DC (with preferences set to enable Acrobat JavaScript) and Vitrium will apply the necessary watermarking automatically.
If you are not comfortable turning on JavaScript on your personal computer, download standards when on the Ramsay network.

ACORN PERIOPERATIVE STANDARDS

The ACORN standards constitute the specialty knowledge of the perioperative nursing community in Australia and represents the accepted standard of professional practice.  Whilst the ACORN standards are not legislation, they are held in very high regard and often used as a reference for practice by the government, regulation authorities, industry and the general public.

To access the ACORN standards you need to be on the Ramsay network. No logon is required. Acorn Standards 2023 - https://www.webdoxx.com/acorn/acorn15/index.php?page=1

Unfortunately, ACORN restrict downloading of the content. However, you can copy the screen and paste it into a WORD doc. This is not ideal, but at least you can copy pages and access from your WORD doc offsite or print out.
One procedure you can use is:
Acorn Standards 2023 > click on chapter required > select Fit Page at the top of the screen > Use Snipping Tool (Mode Rectangular Snip) to select the page and paste into a Word doc. Repeat for each page.

ACORN PRACTICE AUDIT TOOLS (PATS) These are customised spreadsheets to record evidence of clinical practice during real-time observational audits of perioperative nurses. The PATs are designed to measure perioperative nurses' compliance and therefore the quality of perioperative nursing care against the nationally recognised professional standards of practice, Standards for Perioperative Nursing in Australia.
