Our premium subscription to Australian Standards Online provides immediate access to all 6,500 Standards anytime you’re connected to the INTERnet.

The search facility allows you to search by Standard title, number, key word, scope, publication, date or phrase.

You can download and print out entire Standards or relevant sections when you require them in Acrobat PDF. International standards will probably need to be unlocked before you can view them. Just follow the instructions at the site.

There may also be handbooks or videos available from SAI-Global that you would like to purchase. In this case you also require our membership number to take advantage of the discount available. Please contact your Librarian for that information when required.

• Our subscription to Australian Standards online is a ONE USER licence.
  This licence restriction is only active when documents are being downloaded.
  
  You may occasionally log on and find the licence is not available. Someone else is downloading that standard. You will still be able to search the database & find the document you wish to view. In the meantime the licence should become available allowing you to proceed with your download.
  
  Please keep this in mind and consider trying again in ½ hour if necessary.
  
• The standards cannot be stored electronically for any length of time.
  It is advisable to print them out ASAP. A time lock limits the viewing/printing time for a downloaded document, reasonably preventing their broader distribution.
